Best school in Mbale District — best candidate scores 20 aggregate points in BCM/ICT.
We are delighted to announce that Nyondo Secondary School students achieved outstanding results in the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education examinations. The school has once again solidified its reputation as a leading academic institution in Mbale District, with some of its candidates ranking among the top 10 in Science combinations across the country.
The school attributes this success to the dedication of its teaching staff, the hard work of the students, and the continued support of parents and guardians. The Director of Studies, Mr. Muluka Samuel Baker, noted that the introduction of remedial lessons and structured revision programmes played a significant role in the improvement.
The top performing student, Watenga Collin Brian, scored 20 aggregate points offering BCM/ICT. He qualifies for government sponsorship at government universities in Uganda. With 75% of candidates obtaining 2 principal passes and above, the school congratulates all candidates and encourages them to continue working hard in their next chapter.
